Passing 18-wheeler's unattached trailer hit another truck in a curve - driver airlifted.
Driver and 2 students injured when school bus missed the curve and went airborne.

This 18-wheeler missed a hairpin curve on the Rambin Road and took out a whole row of large trees - summer of 2010.
2 fatalities in this burning truck - head-on MVA with salt water truck on Hwy 84 near Mansfield - Sept. 2010
The driver of this Ford tractor attempted to move this old pulpwood truck to a scrap yard. After going down
an incline the truck not only caught up with but over took the tractor using its rear tires as a ramp. The driver was crushed under the truck and killed.

One vehicle wreck - car flipped several times before coming to a stop against a telephone pole. LifeAir
flew patient to LSU.

4 engines derailed and on fire - engineer flown to LSU Trauma Center by LifeAir - 2 others on train taken by Red River Ambulance to LSU

3 frac sand trucks enroute east over tracks, first one hit by train causing derailment - driver taken to LSU
Trauma Center - see purple trailer at right - cab on opposite side of tracks
Firemen stand on top of a derailed locomotive - one
of four. Many hours in the over 100 degree heat were spent putting out a fire in the engines.
This curve immediately south of the crossing -apparently was the cause of the derailment as
8 to 10 cars and 4 engines - all on top of each other as a result of a collision with an 18-wheeler full of frac sand.
Firemen survey the massive destruction that took place in a matter of seconds.
Pick-up enters Hwy 84, hits eastbound 18-wheeler
then westbound 18 wheeler hits pick-up. Motor
missing after collision.

Driver of pick-up ejected after collision. He was
leaving church's driveway.

Unbelieveable that no one was killed in this wreck.
Oct. 19, 2011 - small pick-up exits church driveway,
hits 18-wheeler and ejects driver of p-up. Another
18-wheeler then hits the wreckage as he travels from the opposite direction.
