Background checks will be done before an interview. Hiring is contingent on Desoto EMS Board of Directors approval.

DPEMS accepts applications for all positions, and the following NIMS - National Incident Management certificates for 700, 100, 200, & 800 MUST be included in the paperwork you attach to your application. Website: training.fema.gov/IS/NIMS.asp. to take your NIMS.

You MUST have a chauffeur or commercial driver's license to drive the medic unit.
