and died on the scene - March 11, 2010

Driver of 18-wheeler took down a whole row of trees on the side of Hwy. 177 before coming to a halt on August 20, 2010. He was not seriously injured.
This is just one of several 18-wheeler fires that DeSoto
EMS responded to during August, 2010.
This truck turned at Polk Street Extension a little too fast
rolling over and spilling it's contents on August 17, 2010.
He was loaded with scrap metal and a crushed car which, at first, it was thought that the truck had rolled
over on a vehicle stopped at the intersection.
This vehicle was stopped in the traffic lane on I-49 flagging traffic with his hand out of the window. Vehicle was hit from behind and taken to LSU Trauma Center where he died.

Patient was extricated from this mangled wreckage by DeSoto Fire District 8 before he was flown via LifeAir Rescue to LSU Trauma Center
Hwy 171 - patient had broken ankle with tib-fib fracture after multiple rolls on Dec. 21 - lucky to be here for Christmas
